His 30 year career has included senior roles in scheme management, consulting, asset management and, for the last 13 years, trusteeship. Jim is Chair of People’s Partnership Limited, our strategic board, having previously served as a Non-Executive Director for the Group. Jim is also Chair of the of the Remuneration & Nominations Committee.

Jim is an actuary with extensive board level leadership experience in insurance, investment management, and life and pensions sectors. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, USA, and a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Jim has held senior finance and general management roles at Lloyd’s of London and Legal & General Group. In his various Managing Director and Finance Director roles covering UK and global businesses, he developed and transformed market leading businesses, including Legal & General’s auto-enrolment pensions business.

Jim is also an RNLI Trustee, the charity that saves lives at sea as well as serving on the Board of OneFamily.

Distribution Director

Stuart leads the Distribution Team at People’s Partnership, where he looks after its biggest clients and works closely with advisers to secure new business for People’s Pension. He brings 25 years’ experience to the role, having worked for insurers, and some of the largest pension consultancies in the UK.

Stuart and his team create effective relationships with People’s Pension’s clients and its adviser community through shaping solutions to meet the evolving needs of employers and employees. His team focus on using technology and people to deliver world-class customer care, and cherish face-to-face time with People’s Pension’s members, helping them improve their financial outcomes.

Leanne is a responsible investment expert with 14 years’ experience, and 25 years working in sustainable development more broadly. 

As Head of Responsible Investment, her role is to assist the investment team in integrating environmental, social, governance and stewardship considerations into our investment process.  In any discussion, Leanne brings to life the impact that such policies have on savers’ pension funds, notably with respect to addressing industry challenges to effective stewardship.

Nicola Sinclair

Head of Responsible Business

Nicola has been a dedicated member of People’s Partnership since 2003 and has contributed to B&CE’s Charitable Trust since 2014. With over two decades of experience in the construction sector, she is deeply committed to improving outcomes for individuals, employers, and communities across the industry.

She holds a First-Class BA (Hons) from Manchester Metropolitan University, is FPC-qualified, and has completed the CMI Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring qualification. She also achieved a Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship, passing with distinction, and is currently expanding her strategic and leadership expertise through an Executive MBA at Cranfield School of Management.

Recognised for her strategic mindset and ability to bring people together, Nicola is passionate about the power of collaboration to generate wider, more meaningful impact for society. Her work focuses on enabling positive change, shaping programmes, partnerships, and initiatives that strengthen employment opportunities and support those who need it most.

Chair of the Trustee

Mark joined the Board in 2020 and is now Chair of the Trustee Board. Mark is a professional trustee and actuary with over 30 years’ pensions experience. During his early career, Mark held several senior positions with responsibility for pensions advisory and administration businesses.

He has helped many large UK pension funds and companies on all aspects of pension provision. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and an Accredited Professional Trustee.

Investment Communication Analyst

Gareth is an Investment Communication Analyst at People’s Partnership / The People’s Pension. He joined People’s Partnership in 2021.

Gareth’s responsibilities include assisting in the production of investment marketing and scheme reporting documentation, providing technical investment support for internal staff, financial advisors and employee benefit consultants; and conducting DC Pension market research and analysis.

Before joining People’s Partnership he held several investment research and proposition roles at Legal & General Assurance Society and Legal & General Workplace Savings. He also spent two years in investment analysis and compliance roles with, In Partnership – a national financial advice network.

Gareth holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and the Investment Management Certificate.

Dan leads the investment team at People’s Partnership, driving forward the investment strategy of The People’s Pension master trust, which has more than 6 million members and is one of the largest asset owners in the UK.

Dan is a big fan of cutting through the noise when it comes to investing and using clear principles to guide investment.

He has been operating in the investments sector since 2003. His previous career experience has included investment consulting roles at consultancy firms Lane, Clark and Peacock (LCP) – where Dan was a partner – Redington and Mercer.

Steve Delo is Chairman of PAN Trustees, an award-winning independent trustee firm, and a former President of the Pensions Management Institute. He has twice been named ‘Independent Trustee of the Year’ by Engaged Investor and has been listed as one of the Top 50 people in pensions by Pensions Insight.

His 30 year career has included senior roles in scheme management, consulting, asset management and, for the last 13 years, trusteeship. He is a prominent accredited independent trustee sitting on DB and DC scheme boards and specialises in the governance of large-scale pension arrangements. He has chaired The People’s Pension since its establishment.

Jim is Chair of People’s Partnership Limited, our strategic board, having previously served as a Non-Executive Director for the Group. Jim is also Chair of the of the Remuneration & Nominations Committee.

Jim is an actuary with extensive board level leadership experience in insurance, investment management, and life and pensions sectors. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, USA, and a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Jim has held senior finance and general management roles at Lloyd’s of London and Legal & General Group. In his various Managing Director and Finance Director roles covering UK and global businesses, he developed and transformed market leading businesses, including Legal & General’s auto-enrolment pensions business.

Jim is also an RNLI Trustee, the charity that saves lives at sea as well as serving on the Board of OneFamily.

Rachel is key in driving employee well-being, psychological safety and sustainability initiatives and is a member of the British Institute of Facilities Management. Children’s charities are close to Rachel’s heart, and she is also a Trustee for a local charity, Crawley Community Youth Service, offering support and advice on facilities, health and safety and premises.
