Daniel joins from Brunel Pensions Partnership, where he spent eight years as a Portfolio Manager, leading a multi-billion-pound multi-asset credit portfolio as well as an emerging markets equity fund.

With almost 20 years of investment management experience, Daniel has extensive expertise in manager selection, portfolio construction, strategic asset allocation, and risk modelling. Prior to Brunel, he held investment analyst roles at AXA Investment Managers and J.P. Morgan.

Commenting on his appointment, Daniel said: “I’m delighted to be joining the People’s Pension team at such a transformative time for both the organisation and the pensions industry. I’m excited to bring my expertise and knowledge to one of the country’s fastest growing asset owners as it continues to place better outcomes for its members at the centre of its decision making.

“I’m looking forward to being part of the next stage in building a world class asset owner.”

Dan Mikulskis, Chief Investment Officer for People’s Pension, added: “Daniel’s extensive portfolio management experience makes him an excellent addition to the People’s Pension investment team as we continue to grow rapidly at a pivotal time. He joins an investment team that’s really hit its stride over the last couple of years, underpinned by a clear asset ownership and partnership model that we’re proud of. This appointment marks another important step in becoming a top 100 asset owner in the world within the decade and I’m confident Daniel will help drive that journey forward.”
