Dan has been operating in the investments sector since 2003 and he now leads our investment team and drives forward our investment strategy.
Dan is a big fan of cutting through the noise when it comes to investing, using clear principles to guide investment and thinking with the mindset of an asset owner.
Dan is happy to chat about everything investment related from our investment beliefs, how we think about allocating our members’ money, our strive towards net-zero investments to market movements and the role that pension funds play in shaping the world around us.
Dan’s previous career experience has included investment consulting roles at consultancy firms Lane, Clark and Peacock (LCP) where Dan was a partner, Redington and Mercer.

As Head of Premises and Facilities for People’s Partnership, Rachel ensures that our buildings and workspaces are fit for purpose, safe, healthy and a great place to work.
Rachel has over 30 years’ facilities management experience and a proven track record of success within a diverse range of facilities management and operational roles.
Rachel is key in driving employee well-being, psychological safety and sustainability initiatives and is a member of the British Institute of Facilities Management. Children’s charities are close to Rachel’s heart, and she is also a Trustee for a local charity, Crawley Community Youth Service, offering support and advice on facilities, health and safety and premises.

Jim is Chair of People’s Partnership Limited, our strategic board, having previously served as a Non-Executive Director for the Group. Jim is also Chair of the of the Remuneration & Nominations Committee.
Jim is an actuary with extensive board level leadership experience in insurance, investment management, and life and pensions sectors. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, USA, and a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
Jim has held senior finance and general management roles at Lloyd’s of London and Legal & General Group. In his various Managing Director and Finance Director roles covering UK and global businesses, he developed and transformed market leading businesses, including Legal & General’s auto-enrolment pensions business.
Jim is also an RNLI Trustee, the charity that saves lives at sea as well as serving on the Board of OneFamily.
Mark joined the Board in 2020 and is now Chair of the Trustee Board. Mark is a professional trustee and actuary with over 30 years’ pensions experience. During his early career, Mark held several senior positions with responsibility for pensions advisory and administration businesses.
He has helped many large UK pension funds and companies on all aspects of pension provision. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and an Accredited Professional Trustee.
As Business Development Team Manager, Phil is responsible for managing the central relationships with many of the UK’s leading actuarial and employee benefit firms.
He has over 30 years’ experience in workplace pensions and was previously DC Sales Director with Aegon and BlackRock. Phil is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Gareth is a Clients and Governance Analyst at People’s Partnership / The People’s Pension. He joined People’s Partnership in 2021.
Gareth’s responsibilities include assisting in the production of investment marketing and scheme reporting documentation, providing technical investment support for internal staff, financial advisors and employee benefit consultants; and conducting DC Pension market research and analysis.
Before joining People’s Partnership he held several investment research and proposition roles at Legal & General Assurance Society and Legal & General Workplace Savings. He also spent two years in investment analysis and compliance roles with, In Partnership – a national financial advice network.
Gareth holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and the Investment Management Certificate.
As National Payroll Relationship Manager for The People’s Pension, Rupert is responsible for leading relationships with our payroll business partners. He is committed to making workplace pensions as simple to manage as possible, for our employers and intermediaries, by enhancing our connections with payroll software providers using digital technology.
Rupert has over 20 years’ experience in financial services and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Payroll and Pension Professionals (CIPP).

Steve Delo is Chairman of PAN Trustees, an award-winning independent trustee firm, and a former President of the Pensions Management Institute. He has twice been named ‘Independent Trustee of the Year’ by Engaged Investor and has been listed as one of the Top 50 people in pensions by Pensions Insight.
His 30 year career has included senior roles in scheme management, consulting, asset management and, for the last 13 years, trusteeship. He is a prominent accredited independent trustee sitting on DB and DC scheme boards and specialises in the governance of large-scale pension arrangements. He has chaired The People’s Pension since its establishment.

Tim is Head of Pensions Policy at People’s Partnership and is responsible for People’s Partnership’s pensions policy work.
Previously Tim led the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association’s work on DC pensions and worked in a variety of strategy and research roles at NEST Corporation.
Tim has degrees from the University of York and the London School of Economics.
