José Morago is Chief Risk Officer at People’s Partnership, bringing over 25 years of experience in risk management and regulation in financial services across the UK, Europe, and the USA.

He has held senior risk executive positions at Allianz UK, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Aviva and Ageas, and previously served as Chair of the Institute of Risk Management. His experience spans the insurance sector, banking, and the UK regulator, giving him a deep and broad understanding of all aspects of risk management and regulation in financial services.

José takes a clear, practical approach to risk and is committed to helping the organisation grow responsibly, earn trust, and deliver real value for customers.
