Jackie joined People’s Partnership in January 2026 as a Non-Executive Director. She also serves on the boards of People’s Administration Services Limited, B&CE Insurance Limited and is a member of the Group Audit and Risk Committee.
Jackie brings extensive executive and technical experience in financial services, with deep expertise in pensions and investments. She has held senior roles within Lloyds Banking Group, including Chief Customer and Digital Officer, Chief Executive Officer of Embark Group, and Managing Director of Workplace Pensions, Individual Pensions & Investments.
Jackie has served on multiple boards, including Deputy Chair of Scottish Financial Enterprise, Chair of the ABI Long-Term Savings Committee, trustee of the Bank of Scotland Foundation, and a trustee of the CAF Group Board.
A passionate advocate for gender equality, Jackie has led industry initiatives to close the gender pensions gap and promote women’s financial resilience.
Richard joined People’s Partnership Limited as a Non-Executive Director on the strategic board in October 2025. He also serves on the Group Audit and Risk Committee.
Richard is also the Non-Executive Chair of two financial services-focused fintechs (Aurem and Sparq), operating in adjacent markets in the Middle East and the UK.
With a distinguished 30-year executive career, Richard brings deep commercial, product and technology expertise from across pensions, financial services and fintech. Known for driving growth, new business models and transformation, he has successfully navigated major regulatory and industry changes at prominent companies, including Smart Pension, Aegon, Lloyds Banking Group, Sage Group and Charles Schwab Inc.
He is also a mentor and coach, committed to supporting continued development.
Laura joined People’s Partnership in June 2023 as a Non-Executive Director. She is a prominent pensions industry figure and is currently the Chief Executive of Brunel Pension Partnership.
Having worked within institutional fund management for much of her career, including Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock), M&G, Schroders and Brewin Dolphin, Laura has a passion for seeing responsible and sustainable investing in action and has a deep-rooted commitment to pension savers.
Laura’s vision is to deliver sustainable futures for generations to come. She aims to empower members of the asset owner and asset manager communities to pursue a more sustainable and responsible approach to saving and investing for the good of all pension savers.
Jim is Chair of People’s Partnership Limited, our strategic board. He is also Chair of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee and previously served as a Non-Executive Director for the Group. Jim is an actuary with extensive board level leadership experience in insurance, investment management, and life and pensions sectors. He’s a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, USA and a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
Jim has held senior finance and general management roles at Lloyd’s of London and Legal & General Group. In his various Managing Director and Finance Director roles, he developed and transformed market leading businesses, including Legal & General’s auto-enrolment pensions business.
Jim is also a RNLI trustee, the charity that saves lives at sea, and serves on the Board of OneFamily.
Rupert is a Non-Executive Director representing the Construction Industry Employer Groups.
He’s the Managing Director of John Perkins Construction, an award-winning construction company based in Bristol and Newport. Rupert joined the company in 1998 after working on major London-based projects for Taylor Woodrow Construction. As Managing Director, Rupert is focused on enhancing efficiency, developing smarter working systems and building steadfast business resilience. Throughout his career, Rupert has been committed to improving business strategy and collaborative relationships, building trust and positive outcomes.
Beyond his role at John Perkins Construction, Rupert is actively involved in industry leadership. He serves as President of the Southwest Builders Federation, a Non-Executive Director of the Building Safety Group, and an Ambassador for the Considerate Constructors Scheme. He also spent eight years as a member of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Industry Funding Committee.
John is a Non-Executive Director representing Construction Industry Employee Groups. He also serves on our Group Audit and Risk Committee and Remuneration and Nominations Committee.
John has extensive board experience. He was appointed National Officer for Unite the Union (Unite) in 2002. As National Officer, he covered construction, local authorities and MOD, government departments. He led these industrial sectors on representation, lobbying and national negotiations on behalf of Unite members covering pay and pensions.
He has chaired the Joint Industry for Plumbing Mechanical Engineering Services for England and Wales. John has also served on the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). He is currently a board member of JTL Training Limited and a trustee of Plumbing Pensions UK.
Veronica joined People’s Partnership on 1 April 2022 as a Non-Executive Director. She is also Chair of the Administration Board, People’s Administration Services Limited.
Veronica brings a wealth of experience gained within the financial services sector. She has spent over 20 years as an independent marketing and business development consultant, helping companies develop their strategy, products and services for their customers.
Veronica has held a number of non-executive director positions, including two with mutual organisations (OneFamily and The Hanley Economic Building Society). She has also served on the boards of Chesnara plc and Sanlam in the UK and a trade body that represents the interests of life assurance and investment providers.
Ciarán is a Non-Executive Director at People’s Partnership. As well as serving on our strategic board, he is Chair of People’s Investments Limited and a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee.
Ciarán is an investment professional with over 30 years’ experience in financial markets, including fund management, strategy and economics, as well as a transformational leadership role at the Railways Pension Scheme, one of the UK’s largest and most complex schemes.
Ciarán is currently a Non-Executive Director and Investment Oversight Committee Chair at LGPS Central. He is also a trustee of the Railway Benefit Fund and a Non-Executive Director and Finance and Audit Committee Chair at Studio Wayne McGregor Ltd. He was previously a member of the Scottish Widows Independent Governance Committee.
Kyla is a Non-Executive Director representing the Construction Industry Employer Groups. She is also a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee.
Kyla has over 20 years’ experience working in HR and people functional leadership roles across several different industries, including travel, hospitality, construction, engineering and telecommunications.
She has worked for large PLC organisations as well as owner operated and private equity backed SMEs. She is passionate about how employers can have a positive impact on their employees and how creating a great place to work enables both the business and the team to thrive.
Kyla has a deep understanding of what motivates and challenges employers and champions clear and simple products for employees. She brings all of this expertise into her role at People’s Partnership.
As well as serving on our strategic board, People’s Partnership Limited, Pat is Chair of the Group Audit and Risk Committee and B&CE Insurance Limited. She is also an experienced Non-Executive Director of People’s Administration Services Limited, a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee and a Senior Independent Director.
Pat has spent over 12 years building a portfolio that includes roles as a board member, Audit and Risk Committee Chair, Remuneration Committee Chair, Senior Independent Director and a board chair. She has also been the Board Conduct Risk Champion in an insurance business and the Independent Non-Executive Director responsible for culture.
Pat is currently a Non-Executive Director at Hamilton Managing Agency Limited, an insurance business that includes a Lloyd’s syndicate and an Irish subsidiary. She is also Chair of the Risk and Remuneration Committees, Senior Independent Director, a board member of the UK and Irish regulated company, and a member of the Audit Committee.
Pat’s executive career was as a tax specialist, first as an inspector of taxes and later as a tax partner at EY, one of the Big Four global accounting and professional services firms. While at EY, she gained experience advising international businesses and working with colleagues across the firm’s global reach.
Her board career has spanned a number of sectors, including financial services, social housing and a listed healthcare business. Pat has strong financial services credentials, with a good understanding of regulated businesses and the governance associated with regulation.
Pat acts as a coach and mentor and is strongly committed to improving diversity and building transparent corporate cultures.
